A person of Neshiyah
Nathan Sharon, child
Child
Nathan Sharon
Child, about 9 years old. This is the second life this soul has lived in Neshiyah.
Nathan Sharon is a small, sturdy child who moves through the town square like a wind-up toy, never quite still, always in the company of an adult or an older child. Their eyes are wide and gray, and when something is placed before them—a wooden spoon, a scrap of cloth, a beetle—they lean in close, studying it with a seriousness that makes the baker laugh. They believe whatever they are told, that the fog is the edge of the world, that the fields need working, and they repeat it back with the same flat certainty. Since birth, they have carried a sentence from a dream: *the fog is just fog*. They say it when they are tired, or when they are being carried home. The town finds it odd, but endearing, like a bird that learned a strange call. They want, more than anything, to be lifted onto a horse's back, and they ask for it daily, with open arms.
Temperament
Curious when something is in front of them; quick to believe what they are told; even-tempered; always in company; never still.
